As soon as I heard the words, “you have to go help her,” I hesitated.

Later He told me who she was - a wounded woman.

We are all called to help the widow and the orphan. She was the one I had to help. I was compelled to do so.

She was pregnant. She was poor. Malnourished. Uneducated. Her home had been washed away in a hurricane. Others tried to help - but it was too much, so they left.

And not the whole lot of them felt orphaned. They were ready to leave, to find hope in another land. Then they were found. They learned they had family that would help. Sisters that were there for them, in spirit and in truth.

And there were other sisters all over the world. They all needed my help. So I learned how to help her have her baby. I learned how to catch her baby. I learned how to feed her the most nutritious food. I learned how to help her grow the food. I learned how to help her heal, physically, but also spiritually. I learned how to help her worship her God.

Because He sent me to her. The wounded woman.

And she is no longer wounded.

She is strong.

Now, she helps me help them.

Inner healing prayer ministry, study and worship retreats, birth and health related practice, and outreach to the nations.
